I love bean bags!  This is a great toy and although it looks simple, there are so many ways to play with these.  The bean bags are a fun way to increase a child's vocabulary, both expressive and receptive.  Have your child throw the bag into a basket or box and then see where it falls -- does it fall in front? in back? in? next to the box?  This is a great way to encourage language concepts.  Then, move on to reading... Throw to bags and then find the one that begins with the 'a' sound.... Hours of fun!

This is a great set of books to teach children about holidays. I found myself buying separate books each holiday until I found this set which summed them all up.  A great set to have around the house!

A fun interactive way to encourage children to learn their letters and their sounds.  Once children master naming their letters, you can use this mat to teach them the sounds that go with the letter.  Use the matt to challenge the kids to throw a bean bag on the letter that makes the 'k' sound, etc.  When the child is older, you can use the mat to spell out words even.  Many many ways to play!

Among my favorite books!  This book is great for teaching colors, animals, and sequencing.  Read this book with a young child to teach them concepts of colors and names of animals.  Use this book with an older child to teach sequencing (i.e., what happened first, next, last, etc).

This toy has been on my fridge for 2 years.  An occupational therapist gave it to me at my baby shower!  She said her children loved it.... she was right.  I put it up when my son was only 10 months.  He knew every letter by the age of 2.  I must say this is a great product from LeapFrog.
