Welcome to Educational Toys Mart, our online resource and educational toy store. My name is Angie and I am an ASHA certified Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist.

After years of answering questions from concerned parents about the best toys from their child, I am accomplishing a dream of launching a website that reaches even greater numbers of parents and acts as a powerful resource. We are a husband & wife team with a primary goal of helping children through the power of knowledge and play.

I have been working with children with speech disorders, disabilities, late talkers, and children with autism for years. But more proudly, I am the parent of a child who was born prematurely at nearly three months early. I know the fears and the triumphs of children with special needs both personally and professionally.

I am very selective with the toys that are in my home and shop strategically for the best toys to encourage the development of my child as well as the children that I work with. For these reasons, families frequently ask me for toy suggestions.

The goal of this site is not to just sell toys. It is to provide a resource, suggestions, and reviews of toys based on my professional opinion as well as those of my physical and occupational therapy colleagues. I have added, and will continue to add, my favorite toys as well as reviews and suggestions on how to play with the toys with your child to develop specific targeted skills.

This site can be used for parents of all children, with or without disabilities.
